The Moynihan Food Hall (within Penn Station) has a surprisingly wide selection of restaurants to choose from before you catch your train.

Great place to grab some decent food on your way in or out of the city. The pastrami sandwich is delicious, the pizza is OK, the bar makes good drinks. Those of us who remember the hot mess it was to wait at Penn Station years ago can really appreciate this Food Hall.

Noisy and chaotic food court, sounds of the 80s fill the air and restaurants surround a central bar and seating area. You can scan a QR code and order food & drink from any of the establishments (except the burger joint). Servers patrol regularly to help customers navigate the complex menu - I needed the help! Located right inside Penn Station, Moynihan Food Hall is an awesome spot to sample a wide variety of dishes—all delivered straight to your table. Each time we visited, the food came out in about 15 minutes, which is impressive considering how busy the area is. It’s casual dining, and yes, finding a table can be a challenge because it’s always bustling with both locals and tourists. But honestly, that’s a great sign—when New Yorkers choose it despite endless options in the city, you know it’s good. Oh yes, a full bar, baby! Definitely worth the stop!

I think this is a pretty decent food hall. The prices are surprisingly reasonable too. Different options. I appreciate Jacob’s Pickles, EAK Ramen, Cha Cha Matcha and Magnolia Bakery.
